I love the stamps in the new Occasions Mini Catalog! The bird from Nature Walk caught my eye. Here is the card that I created:

Materials:
Nature Walk Stamp Set
Clearly for You Stamp Set
Pear Pizzaz Springtime Vintage Button
Chantilly Crochet Trim
Dimensionals
Card Base: Basic Black 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″
Very Vanilla – 4″ x 3 1/4″
Crumb Cake – 2″ x 3 1/4″
First Edition Designer Paper – 3″ x 4 1/4″
Tear edge of Very Vanilla cardstock, ticket punch other two corner. Attach Crumb Cake and tear edge. Attach ribbon to First Edition Designer Paper and thread through Pear Pizzaz Springtime Button. Attach all to Basic Black cardstock. Use a dimensional behind button to keep in place.
Stamp flower/stem with Pear Pizzaz onto Very Vanilla cardstock. Stamp again without reinking. Stamp bird with Basic Black ink on top of flower/stem. Clean stamp and then stamp again with Crumb Cake ink. You do not have to line it up it should look a little off to give a shadow effect. Stamp “for you” in Basic Black ink and clean. Then stamp in Crumb Cake ink to give shadow effect. Attach to card with dimensionals.

The Challenge this time was Impress with Less. The idea was to create a simple small scene with a black backdrop (frame) on a white background. I used My Digital Studio by Stampin’ Up! to create this card:

The second challenge at the Crafty Catwalk was to Use What Ya’ Got and create a frame using designer paper. The inspiration was based on these cool sunglasses.
I used my new Owl Punch from Stampin’ Up! to create this card. The designer paper is Greenhouse Gala. Here are the dimensions:
Card Base – Pear Pizzaz 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″
Chocolate Chip – 3 3/4″ x 3″, 4 3/4″ x 1 1/4″, 1 3/8″ circle punch and Owl body and eyes
Designer Paper – 3 1/2″ x 2 3/4″, 4 1/2″ x 1″ and scraps for owl body eyes and cutout flower
Real Red – Owl punch hearts
Whisper White – Owl punch eyes
Pear Pizzaz – 2 3/4″ x 2 1/4″

As I mentioned before, I belong to a design challenge called the Crafty Catwalk. The challenges are all related to fashion and the first challenge was a color challenge based on this picture:

The colors that we had to work with were Chocolate Chip, More Mustard and Pacific Point. Here is the card I came up with (you can see the other cards here).

I used watercolor paper to stamp images using from Fifth Avenue Floral with Pacific Point ink. I used the Aqua Painter to color in the image and then cut out. The More Mustard piece was stamped with the same flower. I also used the Big Shot and a Texture Die to give the background dimension.
